Winter What’s On
The weather is colder, the days are shorter, and winter is well and truly upon us! However, with Christmas still to look forward to it’s not all gloomy skies. To help you entertain the youngsters this winter we’ve compiled our must see list of events, places and activities for the coming weeks.
Festive Breakfast with Santa
This is truly the event of the season, with the chance to enjoy breakfast with Santa at One2eleven! Children can head to the Helston attraction for the chance to meet Santa from 10am till noon on Saturday 7th December where they’ll be able to tell him what’s on their Christmas wish list and enjoy breakfast with the man himself. Dickensian Christmas Fayre at Flambards
Over 80 local craft makers will be lining the cobbles of Flambards’ famous Victorian Village for the Christmas Craft Fayre this festive season (Saturday 30th November – Sunday 1st December). For a truly Dickensian Christmas shopping experience, whatever the weather, visitors can head inside to explore the full-sized Victorian Village and discover craft stalls where little ones will be able to buy a Christmas treat for Granny and Grandad!
Visit Helston’s Museum of Cornish Life
Take a trip to the Museum of Cornish Life this December and join in on the Winter Story Time, perfect for under 5’s. You can find out what dates and times these tales are taking place here.
Join us down on One2eleven Street
Much more fun than helping mum or dad with the food shop, join us down on One2eleven Street for some role play shopping in Tesburys. Visit the Pawly Pets in the Animal Hospital, be mesmerised by the magical mirrors and even try your hand at fixing the big red car in the auto shop.
Wrap up, get outside and try a Treasure Trail
For a mini adventure this winter, put your wellies on and fasten up your coats and head out on a Treasure Trail around Helston. Look high and low for clues and solve the mystery around Helston town. You can buy one now here.
